Lemons are a great source of vitamin C and fiber. They also contain citrus acids, flavonoids, copper, iron, magnesium, B-complex vitamins, calcium, phosphorus and potassium. Lemons actually contain more potassium than grapes and apples. Lemons also help reducing the risk of cancer, heart disease and kidney stones.
