If Only

We rather decipher meaning,
Through observation,
Than communicate our thoughts,
Our emotions…
Seen as weak.

Yet here we both are
Feeling exactly as is,
More likely,
Feeling the exact same way…
About each other,
About the situation,
And everything else in between.

Bothered,
Partly rattled…
Confused.

Either side to stubborn,
And yet somewhat curious.

If only
We were to let go…
Surrender…
It would all be so much easier.
