We can sit here  
Forever analyzing,
Worrying…

Connecting dots
That are never
Might to be
Connected.

Overthinking
To the point
That you lose
Yourself.

Wondering if
There is something
You’re missing…
Not seeing…

Or what if
It was there
All along
And you ignored it.

Questioning
It all,
Not to have to
Go through it all.

Connecting dots
In anticipation
Of injury.

And though
At times
Our conclusions
May in fact be right,
There are times
They could be wrong.

And it is
In those instances
They are wrong,
We mustn’t believe
Them to the right.

For it gives us nothing,
It is nothing…
But torture.

Faulty rationality
Configured by
A chaotic mind.
