I closed the chapter,
Opened a blank page...
Started a new book...

Because,
I tried loving you,
But you never let me in.
I tried fighting for you,
But you never showed me how...

And if I wait for you,
I'll forever be lost
In uncertainty. 

For I would have loved you
Like no other,
Cared for you,
Like no other.

But you never let me,
You remained closed...
Cold...
Unfazed.

Choosing
To not make a choice,
Leaving me to make one
On my own...

So I closed your chapter,
Even though I didn't want too.
I tossed the book,
And finished our story.

And now,
I'm starting a new one...
And I am the main character.
