We are not the same...

And the moment I knew,
was when I realized...
Self-interest was your guide,
It had always been your guide.

Others are just distractions,
Entertainment,
Monetary,
Educational..
Resource driven.

Genuine care was there,
But only in the sense,
That you recieved.

Transactional.
And on convenience.
Forthcoming,
but only upon receipt.

Never actually investing more,
than the other put in...
Always the same,
Or less.
But never more.

Something I only realized,
upon reflection.
Isolation.

For those,
that have hurt me the most...
The ones that left a stain...
have always operated,
in accordance to what works for them,
regardless of it working for others.

Their ego,
pride,
& status...
Mattered above all else.

To which having,
only 1 of the 3,
deems you unsafe.

As game means more than all else.
A game,
I've never subscribed too...
From the moment,
I took my first breath.

And only now,
I see...
We're on two different boards.
Individual vs communal.
Old vs new.
