Parallels

The same way you plead ignorance to the global landscape,
Is the same way your parents plead ignorance to emotional intelligence...
As ignorance is bliss.

And so,
You looking the other way,
Not reading in-between lines,
As it being spelt out,
Are no different.

For you're failing to the dot the dots,
You wish were dotted,
That is,
For you.

Regurgitating the very same tactics,
But worst...
On a global scale.
As your lack of due diligence,
Is blinded ignorance,
As it,
Not only impacts your immediate environment,
But also your external surroundings,
Your neighbor,
And your neighbor's neighbor...
And so on and so forth.

And some you want to teach others,
And ARE...
While having yet to graduate...
Not realizing that you may have passed the test,
But you failed the exam.

Quite literally unable to apply the curriculum,
The one you so desperately claim to be upholding...
Rather,
The one you claim you're nothing like....
Better yet,
'Learning' from...
Shame.
